There is an action card that lets you repair fortresses but there is nothing on cities on there.

The expansion has a card that allows a destroyed city to be rebuilt, but in the base game, once a city is destroyed, it's gone forever.

2nd:
hero movement, action and questing:
-)If I move my hero in the area via strategize action that is the quest-area, can I use any other action before starting the quest (i.e healing, training) than movevement (like heal first and then quest because you already are in the right erea)?

No, you must use the "move" action to quest, even if the hero stays put. If you do a "heal" or "train" action, you cannot quest.

-)Can I move my heroes to an activated area and move him out of an activated area via mobilize and conquer?

Yes, heroes are not restricted by activation tokens. (EXCEPTION: In the expansion, Commanders cannot move out of activated areas).

3rd:
activated areas.
-)So there is no way to move your units out of activated areas? Not even if there is another activated area they can reach in the next season?
This means that you can't move your units more than 2 times each year effectivly (strategize and activated areas)

Mostly correct. This is a large part of the strategy of the game, learning when to move your troops; move too big an army and you may win that battle, but may have your forces tied down for the rest of the year, and you won't be able to move in more forces later that year, either (except via Strategize).

However, there are a couple ways around this:
- If you are forced to retreat out of an activated area, that's fine. Your units will be routed as part of the retreat, but you can potentially use a Rally Cry to stand them up, allowing them to move.
- There is a Tactics card called "Favor of the Warrior's Guild" (I think that's the title) that allows you to remove an activation token.

-)Can I activate an erea and then move units to a priviously activated area that is not the one I activated before moving my units but was activated in this year?

No, when you do a Mobilize or Conquer movement, any units moving MUST end their movement in the area you just activated, and ONLY that area.

4th:
Combat:
-)After skirmish when deciding the battle-outcome: Are creatures with multiple hp points worth more than units with just 1? Or do you count actual unit models that stand upright at the end of the fighting rounds.

All units are worth 1 strength. Big units are good heavy hitters, but it's important to round out your army with cannon fodder. This places a good strategic balance between the weak units and the more powerful units - you can't just focus on the big units.

-)What if, at deciding the outcome of the battle, both players have equal strength. What decides the outcome?

If the strength is equal, the defender is considered to win.

-)Can victorious players move ther rooted (layed down) units to a friendly area once the battle has ended?

No, the player who won the battle must leave all units (routed and standing) in the area.

-)If the losing player flees (when losing the battle he has to flee) does he have to lay down (root) every one of his units in the area he fled to, even the one that weren't rooted during combat?

Yes, this is part of retreating; all retreating units are routed.

-)When entering an era that has layed down units on it, do you instantly kill them when moving in their tile or do you have to damage them in combat (only you draw and the layed down unit absorbs the damage you deal until its dead or sruvives)

This one is a little more involved. Technically speaking, you do start a battle. However, any units that were routed prior to the battle do not join (you leave them on the board, and don't place them next to the player's race sheet). If there were ONLY routed units there, this will most likely mean that the attacker will win easily. You still technically draw cards for the attacker, but the damage they deal won't affect anything, since the routed units aren't in the battle.

However, even if you are attacking an all-routed area, be careful; if the defender has a card like Summon Lightning, and causes all the attacking units to be destroyed, they will win the battle and save their units.

5th:
Unitnumbers and limits.
-)In winter the restriction on your unitcount only exists right at the beginning of the season. Then during the winter season you can recruit and not care about the special winter limitation anymore, is this right?

Correct, you only make the check for food at the beginning of the season.

-)Maximum amount of units on a tile: When does the limit of 8 units per tile come into effect? There were a few times when season-effects just brought too many units before any action, meaning before we chose actions. Do you have to kill off every unit above 8 per tile instantly or can you wait until after you finished your action (what does that mean for combat)?

It is in effect at all times, except during a battle (including the attacker moving into an area to start a battle). Once the battle is over, if the attacker wins the rules allow the attacker to retreat the excess units, but otherwise, you destroy the excess.

-)Do you really have to kill every unit that exceeds 8 units per tile when you finished your action?

Not at the end of the action - immediately; if you exceed 8 units at any time (other than a battle), you must immediately destroy the excess units.

-)What happens when you recruited every model out of your stash and there are no models left to recruit despite having enough resources. Can you continue to recruit units?

The rules allow you to voluntarily destroy units of that type somewhere on the board in order to recruit them, but if you don't wish to do that, you just don't recruit the units you don't have enough figures for. The figure counts are intentionally limited.

6th:
dragonrunes movement
-)You can only swap out dragon runes with each other, but not just bring them in a tile of your choice, is this right?

No, when using the Fortify order, you can choose any two friendly areas, runes or no runes. You then take any runes in those two areas, and put them in those two areas as you see fit. If you want, you can choose one area with a rune, and one area without a rune. You then take the one rune, and can put it in either area. This essentially lets you move a single rune to another friendly area.

7th:
titles:
how do they work? When do you bid for them, how do they get into play initially (you can point me just to all the pages in the rulebook).

You don't really "bid" for them. They mainly come into play via the Acquire Power order Supremacy bonus; see page 36. (You said just to point you to the page, but if you have further questions, I'd be happy to help).

There are also some Tactics cards that allow Title cards to change hands.

I hope this helps! There are a lot of moving parts to this game, but once you get them down, there is a lot of strategy and depth to it, and it all fits together quite nicely once you get the hang of it!
