Runewars is the best for what you are looking. Have all aspect you want.Playtime: 2-3h.
Mage Knight is very different, and haven't "resource managment", "area control", "for 3-4 player, 2 is the max for downtime".
Playtime: don't know but is very sloooooooooooow.
