The nice thing about the old coffin box is that it very easily fits the expansion and still has room for another one or two expansions.
Downside is that one ability from an elf unit is printed wrongly now.
I'm not sure what you mean by "wrongly", unless you are referring to the change to the Latari Sorceress ability in the Revised Edition (which makes them much more useful than in the original). It's an easy enough change to remember - the only difference is the Latari player makes the choice.
I personally have gotten a lot of value out of my game, so for me it's been well worth the price.
