Btw, we noticed an ambiguous wording in the rules about the mobilize and conquer order. It says, that you can move units from up to 2 areas away into the activated area. The mobilize/conquer order card also says: "Activate an area, and move any of your units to it from up to 2 areas away".Now, imagine a straight row of areas A, B, C, of which B and C are enemy controlled, while A is controlled by me and contains my (non-fast) units. Further imagine two further rows of areas right and left this row, which are completely empty.
If I play mobilize and activate C, to move my units from A to there, then note, that A is 2 areas away from C, although the shortest legal path for my units to there contains the movement of three areas.
If you interprete the rules in a very strict sense, then this movement should be possible, because movement during mobilize and conquer is not defined by length of legal path but based on mere area distance.
We decided, that this is only a flaw in the rules wording, and in reality, length of legal path is meant. I hope, we are right in that.
Note though, that this judgement produces an inconsistency with the quest card "To the edge of the world", which also uses the term "areas away from". It is open, if here mere distance or again, legal path is meant. Admittedly, heroes are not hindered by enemy areas, but they are hindered by terrain obstacles, which can also lead to the situation, that mere distance is different from legal path distance.
