I think there may be a big difference here between a "2nd edition" and a "revised edition". In the latter case (which is what this is being touted as), I suspect the changes will be pretty minor; more like a "1st Edition, Modified".
IE, I don't think you'll see anything nearly as drastic as, say, the change between Descent 1E->2E, Twilight Imperium 2E->3E, or even Runebound 1E->2E.
