While it's true I did like the original game just fine, I don't think the revised edition did wrong by it either. The changes were subtle enough overall that it is still the same great game, maybe tweaked slightly better :)
I'm not a big fan of the Commander's rule from the expansion. I'll use them occasionally, but it's not my favorite addition.
(Speaking of the FAQ, I need to polish up the latest version and get it published; it's been sitting on my computer for a couple months just needed some minor editing and I need to do that. Maybe this afternoon!)
