My game group also generally only has 4 hours to play..We generally have 4-5 players.
Games like Cyclades, Lancaster, Kemet, Cosmic, Nexus ops, Alien Frontiers are great cos they normally last a max of 2 hours, so we can play a meaty game plus other shorter games such as King of Tokyo, Smash up, Lords of Waterdeep, Stoneage etc.
The longest game we've played in the 4 hour slot was Rex, which for our first game (including rules) was dead on 4 hours, this was with 6 players. (we even have played Arkham and that normally comes in at 3 hours ish)
I have Twilight Imperium (plus expansions), and ive still never played it. Id love Rune Wars but id fear a similar fate.
So for my group i just stick to games that can be played within 4 hours max, preferably 3 hours.
