by dojogrant I don't think the rules address this specifically, but I'd still keep them as 1, because flying creatures can get there in 1, and in winter, the water freezes and they become adjacent.

by Anduin yepp, afaik it doesn't matter if there is a blue or red line in between.But may I suggest that, for at least the first few games, you should maybe consider to not play with the exploration...
