You have to make sure what you get!Runewars is a thematic territory control game. You control armies and move them across a map, trying to attack your opponent on strategic places and gaining the upper hand. Meanwhile, there is a Runebound kind of adventure game, where you move with heroes across the map and complete "quests" (mainly dice checks) to gain additional dragon runes, which you need to win.
It is a pure competitive game.
Arkham Horror is a cooperative game with a huge roleplay aspect. As mentioned before, they have nothing in common!
