What I meant:Before (and with Banners), heroes could only move in summer, while Commanders could do that (unless they had an activation move from a spring movement in their area) *and* could participate in Mobilize or Conquer movement later on. As such, commanders were vastly more mobile. (This could even help heroes/questing via now-mostly-moot stunts like Mobcon move in spring, reassign commandership to a different commander at a stronghold at start of quest phase, and do a now-unrestricted-by-activation summer move-and-quest with your former commander)
Revised, both heroes and commanders can mobcon move just the same, with heroes unlimited by activation tokens while commanders presumably still are limited by them.
So not only did commanders *lose" their significant relative mobility advantage over heroes, they now in fact only have a restricted version of hero movement.
As a metaphor to help understand my point, think about MMORPG flame wars about how an improvement to a different class can be (and often is, vitriolically so :P) received as a "nerf" to one's own class as far as competitive areas like PVP or group desirability are concerned).
