You are right. The biggest changes are how heros interact now and the voctory conditions. All is covered in the Banners of War expansion as well. But without the expansion you need those 2 pages to "upgrade" your 1st edition. The only difference card board wise is the addition of 4 additional cards with the victory conditions for every race and the bigger map tiles are in 2 pieces to fit into the smaller box.↧
