I've thought the same thing before but I have to say that having a great DoaM of this type that works for three players is rare. I think having 5-6 players in Runewars would bog down the game a little too much. If I have more players I break out a different game.
Although I wouldn't mind another couple races just for the variety, I just don't see me playing it with larger numbers. It's speed is a big part of it's appeal and that goes away if you add in too many players.
Yeah, just more races, not more players.
