Hey everyone,Thanks for taking a moment to read my post, and hopefully lend me your opinion! My wife and I have just started to get into a "Board Game Night," and thus far we have managed to pick up StarCraft The Board Game and the Expansion (which the wife loves).
We are both big miniature fans, so naturally these two games (Runewars and Battlelore 2nd Edition) caught our eye. So here is my question, or rather an observation. It appears to me that Runewars is essentially a more complex version of BattleLore 2E. BattleLore appears to only include 2 of the original 4 factions and far less complex rulesets/tokens.
What do you guys think is a better purchase for the two of us (wife and I) to get into? We do like the variety of selecting different factions as it keeps the game fresh and allow us to experience new tactics and strategy.
Also, how involved is Runewars when compared to BattleLore? I watched an unboxing of both and it looks like RuneWars is token heavy, and has a lot more going on.
