I haven't played anything similar to WK, ever.The "utopic" boardgame tends to have simple mechanics,simple rules and shorter playing time which means WK fails in all three.However, your group must give it a second chance right from the start because the rulebook is a mess and the game may seems to play untintuitively. I'd say grab WK and the expansion if the price is fair and then, if you don't like it you may trade them for Runewars.The expansion is out of print for a long time and you should get your money's worth either way. Remember that you'd have to know the rules by heart when you play either of those games.↧
