Hey this is my first guide. English is not my first language so i am sorry for spelling mistakes. The guide is done with the expansion for runewars.
This guide is about the elves and their first year.
First at all we need to look up the map and decide what we do in our first year. When we look at this map we see 2 citys to reach for us. So our goal is to reach them both in the first year and get the rewards for them.
The settup:
Starting sheet:
We take as starting troops one bow man one leonx rider and one wizzard.
1. Spring
Our first order we play is: Strategize.
We move our troops and the hero to the first city. Well the first city was easy to get. Then we use the bonus and take our tactic card.
2. Summer
We will use mobilize. First we need to get rid of these two enemies in front us. So we can descide to attack them or use influence. I would attack them because we need to be sure to get rid of them. And we can save our influences for other things throughout the game. When attacking keep in mind that your food stands on two. I suggest to attack with two of your troops and your hero. This should be enough to win the fight.
Our second mobilize action we use to move our hero even further and take our fast troop to reach the second city.
3. Fall
Now we got 2 citys we play our support order. We earn two tactic cards which are essential to get for elves through citys because you are to pretictable without any of these and we earn 2 influence + 2 influence from fall reward. Which leads us to a total of 8 influences and 3 tactic cards. Then we spend influence/s for recruiting a new hero.
4.Winter
Our last order for this year is fort. We build a forward base to recruit our troops in following year. Moreover we take our dragon rule and place it back in our home base teritory. Now we have set up a pretty powerfull city boom.
Note there are not many situations to take this tactics but when ever the situation is there your enemies will have a big disadvantege facing an elve player with two cities.
