Also I used craft paints when I started. Pretty Rubbish but by the time I realised I wasn't thrilled with the results it was too late and I wanted to keep everything the same.If I had my time over. I would have dropped the cash and bought the citadel paints straight off the bat and not used dip method, just varnish like I did with the Heroes.
At the very least, if I was to dip again, I'll just try and pick up some army painter quick shades and give that ago instead of the minwax.
But it's all a learning thing. I'm currently painting up my Earth Reborn and getting much better results with the knolwedge I've picked up from painting Runewars plus the minis are bigger but good lord, the detail :S
