I almost didn't buy it because it was so much and instead was going to go for the minwax alternative I read about but I figured what the heck. I definitely wasn't going to go for both a medium and a light can though. Army Painter has inks (not varnish) versions that are only 4 dollars which were recommended at my FLGS but I had already bought the varnish can.
I know the detail will probably be lost on others but "I" know they are there :)

It's funny you mention the thumbs up actually. I noticed the OP has 16 but the thread itself only has 4. I would have thought +'s from the OP would go to the thread but I guess they don't. No biggie.
I'll probably do the undead army next for exactly that reason. My brother is moving back into the area in a few months so I'll be playing with him. Plus I have a small gaming group I get together with every once in a while. I haven't told them I painted the figures yet. I wanted it to be a surprise :)
