Hi BGGers!So while playing Rune Age, I considered that some of the Scenarios might work as variants for Runewars. Here are my very rough thoughts about it over lunch, feel free to help me brainstorm ways to incorporate scenarios into the awesome game of Runewars!
Rise of the Dragonlords
Replace entire set of season decks with new ones that have the Neutral Units attacking in various ways. Haven’t thought this one out, but the whole set of season cards would need to change in order for Neutrals to attack and bad things to happen to the player factions. It may require extra minis or make the neutrals more powerful.
Ascent of the Overlord
Give one player the special powers of the Overlord. They start with an extra hero and each hero draws a reward card. The Overlord always gains the Supremacy bonus for any Order cards played. The Overlord wins by capturing all the Dragon Runes. Or maybe by capturing a home realm territory for each opposing faction simultaneously?
