I like Runewars too. It's a top ten game for me, but Junjun should definitely checkout Runewars. This IS a great discussion. I'm also going to subscribe.

We haven't talked much about Adventure games like Arkham yet. The randomness of that game is even more directly targeted at building narrative, and as a Co-op it doesn't have competitive winning. In fact, I almost prefer losing at Arkham, because it almost more memorable that way, and everyone's panic keeps rising.

Unlike most of the people here, I enjoy Euro's and think that they are quite fun. But, you don't remember an individual game of a Euro years later. You do with Runewars and all of the best Ameritrash, because it has told a story and its the story you remember.
