I finally got started with my painting today! I hope to do all my Runewars and BattleLore 2e figures. I practiced my priming techniques today by spraying my Runewars figures. At this point, they are all mostly white and the vast majority are matte-looking (a couple Footmen and Reanimates have shiny shoulders). I have a question, though. I still see a little bit of color in my miniatures. Is this okay, or do I need the figure to be SOLID white before I start to paint on it? In some cases, the color is in hard-to-reach places like underneath horses. In other cases, the whole figure looks mostly white, but the under color is still showing through, maybe because the primer layer is thin. You can see in the images below that the Forest Guardian is greenish, the Great Wyrm is purplish, the Chaos Lord looks pinkish, and the Roc is bluish.
