You're not alone. Runewars is my wife's favourite game :)
My wife also loves Runewars. Unfortunately we do not get to play it as often as we'd like.
There's something with girls and this game...probably the elves. Theoretically then she should get excited about War of the Ring once we've dealt with the rules.
