Scenarios would be alright, but if I only play this game in 2 players, I'm not sure I'd get most out of them. Something similar to scenarios already exists in the Lost City tile, though. I like that one a lot. It has quests revolving around it, a possible dragon rune, a city resource, etc. More tiles like that would be fun. If it's just a single tile, it's easy to throw in every time too.

There is an interval between moving and the battle. Or, one could play it at the end of movement. In any case, it seems that play is legal. Strong, yes, but there are other strong cards :)

You could even do this when moving into an area controlled by an enemy player to steal any neutrals they may have and weaken their forces for the upcoming battle.

IE, if they are forced to retreat early (such as with the Sorceress ability), they are no longer in the battle and do not count their strength.

If you try and turtle, you will almost certainly not keep all the areas you need by the next year, so you need to be aggressive and push your borders wider so that the next year, you are in position to win.

Maybe it just comes down to group playstyle, but I've found if one player is trying to turtle, and the other player(s) are more aggressive, the turtling player tends to have a harder time winning.

There's hardly any turtling if you play with the following things

- Revised edition rules: Dragonrunes don't start in home realms. Also the extra year.

- BoW cities: Some of them have runes on them

- Put some dragonthrones in the mix

- Try to avoid maps where there's just one bottleneck

- Use Lost City every time

I was just wondering yesterday if following is possible with revised rules?
I activate an area with neutrals in move my hero and a unit there, then i play the tactics card Band of Brigands as it is my turn and a space containing my hero and i move the neutrals to one of my areas routed? Is this possible or does the battle start immediately when entering the space, so to see the space does not contain the hero before the battle ends? It seems quite strong that way?

thanks for info
