hmm... My first thought would be that it gives the defender a greater advantage than the attacker, as the attacker has usually the ability to bring adjacent units into combat anyways. Of course, he has the advantage to let the units in the area for defending purposes, but the benefits for the defender is definitely greater. And giving defensive players more reasons to turtle is never a good idea.Additionally, Runewars is not designed to have this strong "alliancing" aspect GoT has.
