I really doubt a conversion kit will be necessary. From the News page, there are only 4 component changes:
- A smaller box
- No mountains
- Thinner faction sheets
- A few "puzzle-cut" tiles (probably #8, since that one is really long).
There's no indication that there will be anything that would require a conversion kit for existing owners. In fact, the page also says "Component changes ... are purely cosmetic", and specifically says that by simply downloading and printing the Revised Edition rules, "owners of the original edition can have a revised edition experience without actually purchasing the revised edition."
