Okay, you one could argue that AGOT is actually designed to support "discussions" like that. But "battlewise" there is not much difference. Technically, in AGOT you can get up to 30 battles per player (max 10 rounds, 3 march orders each turn if you got one star order throughout the game). In Runewars, there are 14 (with 7 years and 2 battles each year). Both numbers are highly unlikely. But both games have finite number of turns with lot of stuff to do besides battles. (even though in AGOT you mostly prepare for battle when you don't fight^^)
